This Pro Kit provides protective armor for the Sony a7 IV, a1, a7S III, a7R IV, a7R V, a7 III, aR III, A9 and includes many relevant accessories to greatly improve the camera’s functionality.
The Full Cage features several 3/8″-16 and 1/4”-20 threads with locating pins, cold shoe receivers, and a NATO Rail for Type IV and VI Side Handles.
It also features an ARRI Compatible Rosette Connection as well as Rod Attachment Ports for our optional Single Rod Holders.
The top of the cage is specifically designed for our Tiltaing Compact NATO Top Handle for more flexible operating and handling.
The top handle includes one cold shoe receiver which can be used to mount an external monitor via our Cold Shoe Accessory Mounting Bracket.
The Bottom Plate provides 1/4″-20 threads for attaching your camera to various quick release plates and also connects to the included 15mm baseplate.
The Tiltaing 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV adds 15mm rod support to the system and allows you to mount rod based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus systems.
The bottom of the baseplate natively connects to our Tilta Standard Dovetails and also supports various quick release plates via 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.
The included Advanced Power Handle mounts to the left side of the cage via a NATO Rail connection.
This handle features a 12V Micro DC Port (3.5/1.35mm) and an 8V USB-C port for powering your camera body or other accessories like our Nucleus Nano Wireless Lens Control System.
The handle is also able to control Run Stop via an included Run Stop Cable.
The rotation of the handle and additional hand strap allows for comfortable and flexible operation of your camera system when shooting handheld.
The HDMI clamp attaches to the side of the cage and allows you to securely fasten the included HDMI Male to HDMI Female Cable your system.
This clamp can help prevent your HDMI cable from coming loose while shooting and can help protect the port on your camera body.
This can be especially helpful when using an external recorder.
